GEIGER - EKELER

At St. Stephen's Catholic Church in Exeter, Wednesday morning, February 20th, Miss Francis Geiger, daughter of Peter Geiger, and William Ekeler, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Ekeler, Sr., were united in marriage at a Nuptial High Mass with Father John F. Ekeler performing the ceremony. St. Stephen's chior sang the Mass, accompanied at the organ by Father A. A. Antochowski.

The bride wore a light blue dressmaker's suit with brown accessories. Her corsage was of pink roses and white sweet peas. The bride chose as her attendant her sister, Miss Genevieve Geiger of Kansas City. She wore a light gray dressmaker's suite with light gray accessories. Her corsage was of red roses and white sweet peas. Leo Ekeler, brother of the bridegroom, attended as best man.

A three-course wedding dinner was served at the home of the bridegroom's parents to the immediate families

Both the bride and the bridegroom attended Exeter High School. Mr. Ekeler was engaged in farming until called to military service in April of 1942, and was discharged from the Army on January 4, 1946. Mr. and Mrs. Ekeler will live on a farm north of Exeter.
