Rose Fredericka Barkmeier Alldritt Lilly, 90,
of League City, Texas was taken by the Lord, Saturday, February 28, 1998 in Nassau Bay, Texas. Burial was in the Holy
Cross Cemetery, Culver City, California, following a service at the grave site.
Born on September 3, 1907, in Exeter,
Nebraska, Rose was the daughter of August and Anna (Menke) Barkmeier. Rose lived a long and enjoyable life. She retired
after many years of service with the Van de Camp Bakery in the Los Angles, California area.
Rose is survived by her sister Lea Barkmeier;
sister-in-law Alice Barkmeier; daughter Patricia Alldritt Hawkins-Saile and son-in-law Don Saile; grandsons, Scott and
Mark Hawkins, Bruce and Craig Saile; great-granddaughters, Laura Hawkins, Cara and Erin Saile; and great grandsons, Kevin
and Greg Hawkins, Blaine, Joshua and Christopher Saile.
Rose was proceeded in death by her parents,
August and Anna, husbands George Alldritt and Richard Lilly, brothers, Lou, Walter, Vincent, and Raymond, sisters
Ella Morgan and Lillian. The family requests memorials be limited to Masses in Rose's honor.
