Peter B. Becker was born in Exeter on September 29, 1875. He had lived in this community all his life, was not only well known, but highly respected by all. After a lingering illness, he passed away at his home east of Exeter early Thursday morning, December 3, 1936, at the age of 61 years, 2 months and 4 days. He leaves to mourn their loss, two brothers, N. M. Becker and J. H. Becker of Exeter; three sisters, Victoria Becker of Exeter, Mrs. Mary Emanuel and Mrs. Helen Emanuel of North Bend. Three sisters preceded him in death. The funeral services were conducted at St. Stephens's Catholic Church, Saturday morning, December 5th by Rev. E. Boll. Burial was in the Exeter Cemetery beside his parents, the late Peter and Barbara Becker.
The pallbearers were nephews of the
