Darcee Ann Due was born to Dean and Kathy (Ekeler) Due on January 5,
1979, at York, Nebraska and passed away on Oct. 1, 1983, at Friend,
Nebraska at the age of four years, eight months and 26 days. Darcee was
one of three children. She enjoyed her short life to the fullest. The world around her
fascinated her, and she had to know every little detail. She had many
friends, both young and old. She touched the lives of many using her
special nicknames for some. Her great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Ekeler Sr.; Mr. and Mrs.
Allie Ruhl; Mr. and Mrs. Chris Due; and J.C. Peterson, preceded her in
death. She is survived by parents, Dean and Kathy; brothers, James and Robert;
grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Ekeler; and Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Due;
great-grandmother Mrs. Anna Peterson; uncles; aunts; and cousins.
