Obituary John "Jack" J. Parr was born to John and Elizabeth C. (Grossrhode) Parr on February 28, 1929. He passed away in Omaha, Nebraska at the age of 78 years on Saturday, September 1, 2007. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Elizabeth Parr; sisters, Sr. Mary Nola, O.S.D., Sr. Mary Sicilda, O.S.D. and Edith Doll; and brothers, Rev. Norman Parr and Daniel Parr. He is survived by his wife, Mary F. Parr; children, Vicki Teutsch and husband Rod, Pat Parr and wife Mary Lou, Maribeth Grieser and husband Doug, Jim Parr and wife Jan Haun, all of Omaha; nine grandchildren, Adam, Eric, Kate, Hannah, Roz, Grant, Leah, Sam, and Vivian; sister-in-law, Georgann Parr; and brother-in-law, Jack Campbell and wife Bev. A Vigil Service was held on Monday, September 3rd, at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Omaha. A Mass of Christian Burial was on Tuesday, September 4th, at Holy Cross Catholic Church. Interment was at Calvary Cemetery in Omaha.
