Edward Thomas Mueller

Edward T. Mueller, age 50, Exeter, Nebraska, passed away April 11, 1967. He was united in marriage to Anna Marie Barkmeier, December 27, 1947 at St. Stephen's Catholic Church in Exeter, Nebraska.

To this union three children were born. They resided at Exeter since marriage. Edward was engaged in farming and was caretaker at the Exeter Cemetery for the past two years.

Surviving are his wife Anna Marie, two sons, Robert and John, one daughter, Margaret Ann; one brother Raymond of Geneva Nebraska; and father-in-law, William Barkmeier of Exeter.

Rosary was held on April 13th. The funeral was held at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, Exeter, with Msgr. H. H. Ingenhorst officiating. Farmer Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Anna Marie (Barkmeier) Mueller

Anna Marie (Barkmeier) Mueller, 84, of Exeter, Nebraska, widow of Edward T. Mueller, died Monday, January 18, 2010 in Exeter. Anna, the daughter of William and Anna (Winkler) Barkmeier, was born in Exeter on June 23, 1925.

Anna is survived by sons, Robert and John, both of Exeter; daughter Margaret Petro of Exeter; six grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 20th at Farmer Funeral Home in Exeter from 1:00 pm until 7:30 pm  followed by a Rosary. Funeral services were conducted on Thursday, January 21st at St. Stephen's Catholic Church in Exeter with Father Tom Kuffel  officiating. Graveside services were at the Exeter Cemetery.
