John Barkmeier and Miss Mary Klemm were married Tuesday, May 16 at St. Stephen's Catholic Church of Exeter by Rev. Father McDonald.

The bride wore a dress of dove color and the groom wore black. They were attended by the groom's brother, Will Barkmeier, and the bride's sister, Kate Klemm.

After the ceremony, they went to the bride's home where a fine dinner and reception were given. In the evening a dance was given in honor of the young couple at which 200 guests were present. Guests were from Petersburg, Beaver Crossing, Cordova, Friend and Geneva. Many useful and valuable presents were received.

Mr. and Mrs. Barkmeier will make their home north of Exeter.
