A very pretty wedding took place at St. Stephen's Catholic Church on Wednesday morning at nine o'clock, when Miss Anna Winkler became the bride of William Barkmeier. The ceremony was preformed by Rev. E. Boll.

Miss Elizabeth Winkler of Crete, sister of the bride, and John Ekeler, nephew of the groom, were witnesses.

After the ceremony, a wedding breakfast was served at the home of the groom's mother, Mrs. Fred Barkmeier. They received many useful gifts.
